Traditional products which are gluten-free include the renowned tuna from <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsicily.altrama.com\/localita\/egadi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Favignana<\/a>, a beautiful island near <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsicily.altrama.com\/localita\/trapani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trapani<\/a>. The island has plenty of high-quality businesses and accommodation facilities, many of which provide for coeliac clients.<\/p>\n<p>One excellent idea is to have a <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsicily.altrama.com\/la-migliore-granita-del-mondo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">homemade<\/a> <strong>granita<\/strong> for breakfast, one Sicily&#8217;s best-known products. You can again check that the establishment you&#8217;ve chosen is signed up to the <strong>\u201cAFC\u201d project<\/strong>, in order to be sure that the equipment used has not been contaminated.<\/p>\n<p>There are good restaurants offering information on gluten-free cuisine all over the island: from the large cities to the small villages, where the restaurants are often located on the seashore.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a fan of <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsicily.altrama.com\/sicilian-street-food\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">street food<\/a> don&#8217;t worry: there are numerous artisan establishments which have signed up to the AFC project, especially in <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsicily.altrama.com\/localita\/palermo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Palermo<\/a>. Here you can savour <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsicily.altrama.com\/ricetta\/panelle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">panelle e crocch\u00e8<\/a>, the local chickpea fritters and potato
