2° Sagra del Pane Nero di Castelvetrano

On October 18–19, 2025, Castelvetrano honors its richest heritage with the 2nd Black Bread Festival, a journey into the heart of the Belìce.

In the historic center, “pani nìvuru” takes center stage: from ancient blends using tumminìa to wood-fired ovens and table sampling. Tastings, live baking, cooking workshops and music animate the streets.

It’s an invitation to rediscover rural roots, promote the DOP olive oil, meet artisans and feel the land’s voice. Between culture and flavor, this festival pays tribute to Sicily’s authentic soul.
