As a part of the Italian Big Events Championship is the Targa Florio Classic, a regularity race along a path that includes timed qualifying tests and media tests.
It is the oldest car race in the world inextricably linked to the Florio family of entrepreneurs and patrons who played a central role in Sicily between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
Over the years, the scenery of the Madonie Park, a naturalistic, historical and artistic heritage, has been the theatre of the exploits of the most famous drivers of the entire international car-racing panorama. The race, in fact, sees a rich international participation with historic cars built over the last century.
